Description: After many attempts, Eva finally persuades her older brother Chronis to allow her to throw a party at their house and to invite Aimilios (who is in love with her), the son of the conservative owner of the company where Chronis works. However, Chronis’ narrow-minded uncle Ploutarchos, professor of Theology, is also persuaded by his daughter to allow her to throw a party as well. The next day, the behavior of Aimilios’ father leads Chronis to believe that he is about to be fired, while, in fact, the father is actually getting ready to announce his promotion to manager. He also gives Aimilios permission to marry Eva. In his new position, clever Chronis increases the profits of the company and persuades his uncle, who has forbidden his daughter to marry the lawyer she loves – to change his mind and give his consent.
